Ouch!! My 4-Feet Witchblade statue

My 4-feet Witchblade statue that arrived today. Here's the Ebay auction pictures to show you how it looks before I got it.

And here's where I say "ouch."

I've been looking for this one for a long time. Then I was able to buy one.

Well.. It came today and here's how it looks... I drew a red line next to all the cracks that can be seperated.

80 pounds package from UPS...

I opened up the top lid and this the the first thing I saw...

Then I look towards the right and I see this...

Then I look further down the package and I see this... There's even cracks on her breast. I don't think Whitchblade was trying to get a boob job.

Then I look towards the left of the head and I see this.... These aren't hair line cracks. They're cracks where the pieces can be seperated from each other.

This statue is all messed up broken. The shipping box is keeping all the pieces together. I didn't even bother taking the rest of the statue out to find more damages. Otherwise it'll all fall apart.

This was so expensive to buy and ship. Hopefully UPS will honor the insurancer claim and also refund shipping cost. Man.. Shipping cost alone was over $250.

This hurts big time!

OMG that sux...how was it packed..it took a serious beating....was this the result of poor packing???

To be honest...all I can see is one layer of bubble wrap and some crumbled up paper for protection...

I had a friend who use to work for UPS. Whenever they had a gripe with their company they would beat up the insured fragile boxes knowing it was taking money out of the company's pocket.

Since then I package well but never put fragile on the box.

I think something that big needs a wood crate to protect it...

That's exactly what it was. One layer of bubble wrap, some crumpled up brown bags, and some smaller brown boxes inside to keep the statue in place.

man.. I'm so sad.

The person you bought that from should have had it professionally packaged to protect against damage, instead of trying to do it him or herself... half-assed at that. I've heard that UPS can be an SOB to get claim money from and seeing as it wasn't properly packaged I have a hard time believing that they will pay up. Hopefully you can get your money back, if not from the UPS claim, then from the guy you bought it from.

Wow, I don't even know what to say to this bro. I would love to own that statue, but damn, I'd be so pissed had it arrived to me looking like that, I'd be knockin' some fools out! lol
