Big 4/4 stars for this horror movie!

Oh, my God! What a fantastic vampire movie! Seriously. The film's in Swedish in subtitles, just to forward those who hate subtitles. But the girl who played the vampire was fantastic, the special effects were sparse but when they hit they hit in a major way, the story (yes, there's a story) was brilliant. This movie has it all: warmth, (black) humor, thrills, suspense, surprises and genuine horror.

If you even remotely like vampire movies or horror movies in general you MUST see this film.

so ill just post again, yes this flick was awesome!!! kid vamps are creepy. there was a scene i think they coulda done w/o but other than that i enjoyed it very much. ****

Saw this yesterday and recommend.

The "scene" I think you mean I had to read up more about, and it adds a bit of a twist because it was not as obvious to me at first because it was so incredibly short unless you were looking closely to catch what it meant.

Sadly an American remake is planned.

I hate that. People should just SEE the original.

They screwed up Le Femme Nikita that way too.

I liked it but felt it's too overrated. Everyone made it out to be some master piece but it was just a good film.

It is a pre-order from Amazon. It will not be available on DVD until March 10, 2009.

Actually, I didn't think this scene was inappropriate or gratuitous. She asked him if he'd feel the same way if she weren't a girl and then afterwards told him she wasn't a girl. The kid had to have been wondering.
