The matt paints dry really quickly, as they are, iirc, laquer based. I usually give it 15 mins between coats, & the paint is dry to the touch (sprayed outside at mild afternoon temp).
First coat is more like a quick dusting, as with most paints it's best to give a few thin coats as one thick one will run, & the runs can take quite a while to dry. & as with most paints humidity & cold will extend the drying time.
To be safe, let the pain dry overnight before dull coating, but I've airbrushed Testors dullcoat on after about an hour with no adverse effects.
The gloss coats however are a different matter completely & take much more care than the matts.
To get more pressure you can put the can in some warm water for a few mins before spraying. Shake well & you're on your way!
