I plan on building a CAF gallery soon so I'll put the Hughes piece up on it.

Why would he do that? Don't these cost about $100 each? I've heard some fans wait in line all night to be among those who get a Hughes sketch.

Hey Risingstar,
Adam is well known for the humourous touches which he injects into his con sketches. A search of AH! con sketches at Comicartfans (CAF) will easily demonstrate the number of such sketches which, for the most part, are very well received by the fans (as evidenced by the comments accompanying the scans at CAF).
I guess there may be occasional disappointments, however, they appear to be very rare. Marvelboi was presumably making sure that there was no chance for disappointment by stating his request clearly.
By the way, Adam's sketches now cost $200 per sketch. Given that two such con sketches recently ended on ebay at $773 and $913, the asking price is not unreasonable.
Just to reassure you that he can put breasts in the right place, here's a tasteful pic (warning nudity) - http://tinyurl.com/e2on9
Best,
Royd

How the heck did you get a Hughes sketch?
I know being first on the list, which I was, doesn't mean anything, but Saturday afternoon when he finished a Shadowcat/Lockheed sketch, he said that was the first one he got completed. I saw the second sketch he was making progress on, don't remember what it was was, but wasn't Mary Marvel.
He probably got only 3 or so sketches done at the show, since he was sick all day Sunday.
At least TatS and I got Heroes' Nikki and Spider-Woman Tim Sale sketches?
Got Shawna 6 Venom sketch cards. And a post card size sketch of Beast from Bagley.
She got me a nice Marvel print from Micheal Golden.

When I left you guys on Saturday at 4:00 to go check into my hotel I stopped by Hughes' table just to see what progress there was. I was shocked to see a MM done. I asked Allison if that was for me and she said that there were two requests for MM and was I the one who gave her reference info on the piece. I said yes and she said that it was mine. So I gave her the cash for it and got out of there quick in case the other person who wanted the MM got there. I can't believe I forgot to tell you yesterday.
