Also, once pro painted, the final price for these would be around 1k. Too rich for my blood
That's why I need to start learning how to paint^^

For what companies like Sideshow & PCS charge for their statues one would expect high quality pieces.
Instead we are treated to this:
Bigger isn't always better, it's just bigger...which is why I liquidated a majority of my sideshow/pcs collection because once the "wow" factor wears off all you have is a very hollow feeling. nowadays I only chase down the most detailed statues regardless of scale.
I would love to see PrototypeZ hit the 1/4 scale market but for now I am perfectly happy coppin' (buying) there 1/6 line...

you never know the 1/6 could rise to that price, with only 150 out there and many different people painting it up and not many selling them off could topple 1k.

Yeah I have no interest in 1/4 either.
1. No place to put something that big.
2. 1/6 is awesome because action poses are possible! 1/4 would just be museum poses which to me would be meh.
If I ever did partake in something like this, it would only be for Ryu.

I'll stick with 1/6 for these kits. It's already going to cost me a fortune.

I'd love to have a 1/4 of certain characters but 1/6th is the best scale for this at this point.

inorder to guarantee a good start, i hope protypeZ starts off with akuma, ryu, sagat, chunli. that should be enough to hook some people in for the long haul. PCS is just under 1/4 scale so these should be larger than PCS pieces.
