Brad Pitt confirms talks over World War Z sequel

We're certainly talking about it, yeah,” says Pitt of a potential sequel. “We have so many ideas on the table from just the time we spent developing this thing and figuring out how zombie worlds work.”
“We have so many ideas and so much information, we think we have a lot of stuff to mine from. We're going to do our best and see what we get out of it. We gotta get the script right first to determine if we go further.”

Didn't see the first one and if the second isn't "R" rated with more Zombie goodness, I will skip that as well!

The movie was decent, I just wish it hadn't been called World War Z. I would have really liked to have seen a World War Z anthology miniseries on HBO or somewhere based on the book. That would have really been fantastic. This movie had virtually nothing in common with the book except the title and a couple of names. If the rights haven't been completely obliterated maybe someone can still pick up the book as a mini-series and just call it something different. Given how much the movie made, I'm sure they wouldn't give us that brand any time soon.

I think if the movie was succesful enough for a sequel, and the sequel proves to also be successful, perhaps the producers can turn around and make a tv show. This can be an anthology like the book, you never know.

Here's an idea how to come up with a plot -- use the book!

The book is over rated. I hate anthologies. Takes place after the events so theres no tension of any kind. Boring read that barely made it through. I enjoyed the film and wouldnt mind a sequel. The movie had a solid conclusion though.

yeah i did like the ending.
but ill admit. it was odd seeing Brad Pitt in a film like this.
i know he did the Vampire diaries. but i dont know. just seems strange to me for some reason. i do like him as an actor. he did do a good a job. def liked the hallway scene toward the end.
