Sculpted all the way. I own three 1/4 scale pieces (all Sideshow) with fabric capes with wires, and those things take a ton of work and then some to get looking ok.

Large breasted women should be pissed and offended by the 'breast-washing' that's going on here with this piece

I mean, I am. I said as much when they released the piece. It's like they are body-shaming Power Girl because she's too endowed. And while I know she is a fictional character, it says something that they are editing her to fit into some mold that they - be it DC or Sideshow - feel is "appropriate". Women are allowed to be pretty, strong, and have large breasts. They aren't something to be ashamed of. Hell, for decades (and still now) women paid a pretty penny for implants to get what some of us were genetically blessed with. I don't go around thinking that small busted women should have implants, just like I don't go around thinking big busted women they need to have reductions. Let people - and characters - be as they are.

Yes, at all the 80s video car washes. You didn't know those were happening on the regular?

Why?
....it’s nice if they do and I’m not against it, just curious why we “need” it.

I can understand why they reduced the breast on Powergirl.....I would imagine D.C. are trying to subtly change the art direction from past leanings to something more, how should I say this? Generic? Politically Correct.
It's not about NOT liking large breast......at least not for me, I love all breasts everyday.......I think its more about the motivations behind the original character designs, that tend to signal the intentions of the creators.
It seems that, in order to get PG noticed and accepted in the beginning, they lured males in with those huge breasts......is that right or wrong? Who can say? But I can imagine in this new "enlightened" age, it may be something they want to distance themselves from.

thats the issue now days, where they end up losing their fan base. looks at all this Hollywood movies or some games where they too busy checking box about their agenda rather creating a well developed content. what worst is they take what is already famous and then alter it to meet their ideology. its like they want fans to hate them. too many of my favorite show got ruined that way, i mean look at doctor who or the latest star war movies.
for power girl it became kinda her thing with her curve and her breast. and if they wanted smaller breast then power girl, go with super girl. but if they want to change her original idea and it is not like power girl is losing her fame among her fans, than who are they creating the new one for. Im not saying this statue is bad, despite her reduced size, it is still a gorgeous piece. and i agree they would have gotten even more customer if her proportion were similar to their previous work. but it feels like a start of a increasing trend on changing character for political correctness as you mentioned. this usually does not end well for their business since they drive away the fans.
here is a good video about re imaging in comics to meet political correctness. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ow79eUHFhp0
