Curious, how is the actual stability of the statue? Magnets strong enough?

This kit is produced by Ownage, top 3D printing factory in China. Nice strong magnets for the cape and switch out heads and torsos. Better than SS typical magnets, more like P1.

It's really tough to resolve in a photo, but one of the things I wanted to do was add texture to parts of the suit where none was sculpted thru different finishes. I wanted the blue to look like spandex so after the paint apps were done, I sealed it with Tamiya Pearl Clear to get a nice initial sparkle and then toned it down with a gentle matte finish. So as you look around the statue and the light hits it....yep, spandex. You can catch a couple sparkles on the darker, upper parts of the pic. Did something similar with the boots, finished them glossy & toned them down with satin. Same with the S shields, I did the yellow part glossy leaving the S matte so it looks backlit for a cool, different effect. I apologize for moving so slowly and will pick the pace up this week. Thanks for looking! ❤️

i see the texture... always a good way you did to bring more life to the clean parts.
Recheck the parts where the yellow belt crosses the red loops of the pants. Still to much yellow on the reed loops sides ;-)

I have brought much shame upon my village. LOL

You have the benefit of a zoomed in pic, in real life you either can't see them or it's covered by the hip hand. And you have collectors' eye like me.

But yeah, it's sometimes a bit frustrating when you pull the tape off and that darn gap shows up and you swore up and down you nailed it. But then I go check my P 1 Superman and it's exactly the same and I exhale and live with it.

After all...."these are hand painted works of art and a level of variation should be expected" - Sideshow

EDIT: who am I kidding, I'll probably go back and touch it up. LOL

nonono... dont get me wrong... i also can find anything on every statue... just want to make sure its not a thing which is noticeable in real. I know by myself sometimes you loosing focus on a statue cause working on it hours and hours. if its okay leave it like it is. Its not possible to do everything correct on a hand painted work which is full of life and not static like a mass production. I like little mistakes like real life is full of ;-)

LOL...It's all good my friend.

Gearing up for the final stretch...the eagle is all primed, got the red undercoat started on the capes, and got the bust stand up to black and silver... eventually those silver pillars will be transparent blue...and some iridescent blue if it shows up in time. Tomorrow is cape day!

EDIT: it's only the dark red undercoat but LOOKIT DAT SH!T!!
