Man, they must be really hemorrhaging money between less purchases and everyone cashing in their points in one year. These are extra drastic changes

Yeah it's super confusing. It's called a promo code in the email. But you redeem it for Rewards Points (mine was $3). BUT like regular promo codes (and unlike rewards codes), you get a message in your notifications page telling you the promo code (not the points) expires in a week.

Or maybe they just don’t care about reward points anymore. They just may be making so much money acting as a worldwide distributor, that they don’t care if they lose a few customers dependant of rewards here and there.

I probably won’t ever buy direct from them ever again, but my to go store is Popcultcha here in Australia sources the bulk of their high end products via Sideshow, so in a way they end up getting some of my money anyway.

Yes hemorraging, which is why they continue to give out rewards and do giveaways for $500+ statues each day.

They're doing it the way they're doing to increase their watch count on social media which is where a majority of their marketing is focused.

And to no one's surprise it's working.

They lost me when they started really ramping up their social media content. I don't watch any of their videos, and I have zero interest in trying to keep up with everything they (or their other pages) do on FB, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, or even goddamn LinkedIn. I'm sure they're raking in the views with younger collectors though. All of that nonsense just isn't for me.

People go where the free rewards are and if they have to watch a stream and participate to get them, many will follow.

I didn't The social is too juvenile and devoid of any substance. I used to watch some for the codes but it was painful. It's much easier just to check over here for any new product updates.
