Hardcore Henry
Non-stop, first-person action with plenty of violence and parkour. Not saying it's an excellent movie, but I enjoyed it. The amount of stunt planning/choreography is mind boggling. It's in no way comparable to "Mandy" and/or "Enter the Void", but I thought of them, as it's something similarly unique that you rarely, if ever, see. An experience.
Definitely worth checking out for gamers.
I don't get motion sick, but I'd recommend watching on a laptop or smaller screen. First-person POV for a whole movie probably isn't pleasant for most.

Saw it in the theater and there were a few people that had to leave from motion sickness. I've re-watched it several times at home. Fun movie.

What kind of screens did you watch at home? Did you find one more pleasant than the others? I watched on a laptop.

I've watched it on a laptop once and on a 65" TV several times. The bigger screen is better for me at least. I would enjoy seeing it in a theater again but highly doubt that will happen. LOL

Interesting. I'll have to try a larger screen some time. I just assumed the jerkiness would get too annoying (although I think they did as good a job as possible trying to minimize it). That's how I felt after watching some shaky cam stuff like Bourne - I figured it would be better on a smaller screen.

Dayshift (Netflix) - 8.5/10 - a movie that knows what it is, and does a great job in execution.
I don’t consider myself a huge Jamie Foxx fan, but I’ve probably seen most of his movies, and even his tv stint on, “In Living Color.” He’s talented and he carried this movie quite well as a vampire hunter disguised as a pool cleaner. Good supporting actors/actresses, well executed action sequences, and some funny banter.
Uncharted - 6/10 - did not dislike it as much as I thought I would.
I watched this with two brains - one as a die-hard Uncharted video game player, and the other as a viewer looking for an enjoyable movie. The movie did not bore me. Although likable, Holland does not convey Nathan Drake’s “swagger.” Wahlberg is…just Wahlberg. He was Sully in name only.

Jurassic World - a New Era 5/10
It was nice to see all the actors.
But I didn't really like the story.
The dinosaurs also tried as best they could not to eat the main characters. Reminds me of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series when Leia ran away from the adults with her small steps.

Nope - 6.5/10. Interesting idea. I feel like someone involved in a certain design aspect in the movie watched Neon Genesis Evangelion
Samaritan - 4/10. I actually fast forwarded through a good chunk, and missed nothing, as far as I can tell.

That's exactly what the influence was. Peele confirmed.
