Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Nowadays it's not really all that common to unbox an expensive, and 99.9% of the time overpriced, item while feeling thrilled and positive during and after the process without the slightest hint of remorse. This piece did it entirely.
Just wish the base was more consistent in style with the previous releases, as they all look better in this regard in my opinion, but that ship has long sailed at this point. Easily Top 3 Iron Studios JP statue to me, super happy with it.
And to answer some questions in the previous page, eventual Dilo proportion issues were due to lens distortions/focal lenght as there's actually nothing wrong with it.

Congratulations! I hope you enjoy it!

I got mine last week too and have the same feelings. So happy I got this. People think he’s smiling but in person it’s clear that it’s a worried grimace. The details are great - the scales and detail on the Dilo, texturing and paint including mud splatters on Nedry’s coat, the Barbasol can, and the sign feels and looks like real wood. Which it could be I guess.

I'm ok I canceled mine. I actually did receive the Blue and Beta piece but kind of having second thoughts about it too. I think I'm pretty much done with IS?

I can?t blame you. I find IS pieces very lackluster and cheap looking. Personal opinion, please no one get angry.

It's just an opinion, no one should get angry.
I've just not been impressed with the ones since the sculptor changed. I believe they used Julien Romeo as did Prime 1 initially. He's been outspoken before about how was let go from those companies and replaced, which is a real shame.
Prime 1 has issues moreso recently in their Jurassic line and so to has IS.

Iron Studios original JP sculptor was Caio Fantini, who made those stunning Raptors from the Kitchen set along with sick Triceratops and breakout Rex.
He then left IS to work for P1, and made lots of JW pieces for them.
IS struggled with dinosaurs ever since, however their concepts, build quality and human characters presence still made their little dioramas worthy to own in my opinion. I absolutely love this Nedry one for instance, and the Hatching Raptor diorama is possibly my most anticipated piece.
