Who care who produces it...Hot Toys...CM...MommaPappa...Sideshow...PCS...etc... If it looks good and the quality is superb...count me in.
I love the fact that I have different option to buy a 1/4 Street Fighter statue now.
I'll wait for actual pictures of the final product before I hit the ADD TO CART button.
Personally, if that Ryu pose is the actual version, then I would rather have that one than the PCS version. I prefer a different pose. I think it will look great next to Ken though. I recall reading somewhere in the forum even Jerry stated that he would like to change Ryu if he could back then.
I just don't get it...why the Sota hate? LOL...this is a funny crowd.

Interesting... Kind of see this as Hard Hero taking on Bowen... or Diamond Select Toys taking on Bowen... Both companies are no longer doing Marvel statues...
I agree... the post leaves much to be desired... I hope that the blue resin is not used... it seems when companies try to go with that artistic flare, they fail misrabley... (Aspen Kiani anyone?)
Good luck... and I will be watching this very carefully over the coming months.

I don't get it either. If the collector wants to stay with PCS, then stay true to them. No problem. But for some collectors, we love varieties. I collect both Bowen and Sideshow and now Koto when it comes to Marvel.
I was not very impress with the Ryu stance by PCS, which is why I am hoping for this Sota version to be done well, but I am also hoping for the new PCS Ryu statue to be done well, as well.

Agree.
In addition the Ryu pose sucks, like majority of their products (their Ken is just awfull...)
So easy pass for me.
I dont like copycat.
