Ditto, The clear bases focus all your attention on the statue itself.

Classy!

Apparently it's a museum style base if you decided to go with uplighting.

Which is another reason I like them, light passes through the base. If you have them displayed in an IKEA detolf for example the pieces underneath them get more of the light from above than they would with a solid base.

I like the art style clear bases however I feel they should be cheaper or be far more ornate if the pricing is going to be in line with that of Sideshow.

Other then the arguable likeness of Captain American, these 3 latest statues of GG are far more detailed then anything SS has put out in the $400 price range. Their sculpted fabric is insane looking.

You know if SS put out this type of quality they would want $700+ for them.

But before any serious argument can be made we need to see the production pieces first, but from what I've heard form other people who have collect GG high-end statues is they always come out extremely close to the prototypes.. So here's hoping

Lets not forget even though a lot of these GG statues retail for around $400 they can be purchased for almost $100 less than that through dealers. One of the advantages of not having exclusive pieces is there is no real incentive to order direct. I'd like to see someone try and pick up a $400 Sideshow PF for that price either through a pre-order or even at the time of it's release. Not gonna happen.

I still havent pulled the trigger on this one..it would look great next to SS Leonidas or even a Conan...wish I knew what the ES would be...Keeping a close vigilant eye out on this one...hate for it to be one that got away...Pure quality at a good price IMHO
