Finally figured out why the Rhino Bot kept reminding me of something ridiculous, aside from the fact that it's such a departure from the character that I know and love. It reminds me of Ace Ventura's Rhino Bot in "When Nature Calls". I'm hoping Giamatti doesn't eject from his Rhino Bot in the same way Ventura did.

I know someone who has seen this already and he didn't like it, he said it sucked. He's not a comic book collector like us, so I'm hoping that has something to do with it.

I dunno, it seems like they try their damndest to appeal to everybody BUT comic fans with these movies

There are comic fans and then there are "perfectionist" comic fans (where everything has to be exactly like the comics). Honestly, I've enjoyed "almost" all the comic related movies that have come out.

The movies could have done a better job with the villains -- Dr. Doom, Mandarin, Dark Phoenix, Emma Frost, and numerous others were barely recognizable.
