THIS... THIS pisses me right off
http://www.gamespot.com/news/xbla-ga...ox-one-6408732
I've invested a ton into the XBLA. I wasn't expecting my 360 disc based games to be backwards compatible, but the fact that I can't even download my digital XBLA titles onto the XOne...ugh. They'll probably re-release all current XBLA titles on the XOne, polish the graphics slightly and charge double the initial price

I am far more disgusted with the game fee then I am with non backwards compatible, sure every once in awhile I get that nostalgia bug and might want to pick up an old game, but frankly i'm buying a new system for new games, but having to pay a fee for a game somebody else has already paid for just leaves a horrible taste in my mouth, I am still waiting on their official statement on the matter so they can put their BS corporate spin on it and let us know how exactly this is a good thing for us lowly consumers

I didn't see it coming considering it was digital content. That means one day when they shut down the servers, we won't be able to redownload our digital games.

Well the fact that they said that the 360 games are incompatible suggested that was the case for the online games as well,Yes I am sure they can tweak things and make it work but they wont. It is a greedy move.
Sony doesn't have try tooo hard to win this console war now.

I have a fair amount of arcade titles so I am a bit annoyed by this as well, but honestly out of every terrible decision they've made with this system non backwards is very near the bottom of the list for me.
1. used game fee
2. Kinect required
3. needing to connect with the internet every day
4. screwing with achievements
then somewhere further down is not being able to play my old games on it

I agree. Though I think the achievements BS ranks right under the used game fee as the worst offense.

well I love achievements but i'll at least wait to hear what they are planning to do with them before it ranks too much higher, but Kinect always being on is so god awful, the Kinect sucks, nobody likes the Kinect, the Kinect failed as a product. so instead of them cutting their losses and redoubling their efforts to give people what they actually want what do they do? why force every single person that wants their system to get one and be unable to ever take it off, that's corporate thinking for ya

It seems ridiculous to me too but since my game consoles are always connected to the internet I'm not bothered by this anywhere near as much as some of the other things.
