Those floors are beautiful B2S. My wife wants to tear up our floors and put either laminate or tile down that looks like that.

Thanks mate...

Ya those are the 8"x48" tile that looks like wood, it came with a gloss surface which I really liked. Normally It was $9 sq.ft. but I got it on clearance for $4 sq.ft.

I hired some guys to come in and tear up the original tile floor, talk about a mess, I was so glad I hired people... They had mini jack hammers and all sorts of tools, grout dust was all over the place... plus it only took them 3 days to do it where it would of taken me months

My wife's mom has a contractors license (she does concrete acid staining and pool installations) so we can get the tile at a huge markdown.

Man I am in the middle of a remodel and we have some glued down bamboo that I want to tear up. I've been warned its best to pack the house up entirely and leave town for a week.

Thanks...

I still have a few things to do, I'm redoing the kitchen cabinets and I got a pool table coming which I'm going to put in the dining room area

Plus adding a 600 sq.ft. two room casita on the side, still waiting for the stupid city to approve the plans.

I don't think glue will be as bad as grout & tile... But I would defiantly put blankets over anything you don't want covered in dust.. I basically empty the whole house and had them redo all the flooring, two rooms had carpet, 1 room wood floor and the rest was about 1800 sq.ft. of tile they had to rip up. It was extremely messy.. Meanwhile I lived in the existing 300 sq.ft. Casita out front while they did this.
