Thank you for the interest and feedback.
There's a pretty terrific element to the base we haven't revealed yet. And the base is rather large in relation to figure. Stay tuned.
To be clear, the face is not based on any one real person. It's a composite of elements which had the tonal quality of the art to assist in the creation.
Not sure on the brow. I rather like that she looks like she's scanning the distant horizon for threats. But we addressed anyway to add more nuance. Agree the nose could be tweaked slightly. Addressed.
Re: Creature Arm. To Jerry's credit, he already resculpted this upon my earlier request. What do you think about the arm color matching the tentacles, as if she is becoming the thing beneath the tree? Or to illustrate a chameleon aspect of her ability. I think we should.
Agree there should be a tear and/or flap of skin dangling from that arm, and this was an existing note that must have fallen through the cracks. Addressed.
Figure is matte. Addressed. Gloss was added to catch the light for teaser image only. Skin tone changes depending on the light photographed in. I think this is a striking first tease of paints, so went with it.
I forgot to add tattoo detail on ankle, and butterfly on bracelet. Shame on me.
We may wish to incorporate these elements and re-up the photo.
Keep the comments coming, but please realize she is 1/8th scale and quite detailed at this size.
P.s. Starfall statue would be insanely cool. Making every possible effort to get her out there.
Everyone have a good weekend, and enjoy your hobby.
I have a long night ahead of me, but am going to go enjoy
Halloween cupcakes in March. (They're made fresh, btw.)
