Recently some of the boxes for my Hot Toys figures have been driving me nuts anyway.

Because of addition items (cardboard/plastic backdrops! and other accessories), a lot of the boxes are bigger than the normal shoe box size.

I’ve got a wall made up of nicely stacked Hot Toys boxes, but now I’m starting to stack all these oddly sized boxes in the corner (for gods sake can’t they just choose a uniform size for these bigger ones and just stick to it, instead for each one to differ in size). So one more from InArt isn’t going to make a difference.

Yeah, I initially thought that at least boxes for 1:6 figures weren't that massive compared to statues, but...

Anyway:

Talk about a premium looking product!
That looks to be fully worth every penny they were charging for it.

I kills me that Queen can incorporate hair on a 1/6, non silicone head, that looks more in scale and realistic than JND can with their 1/3 at substantially higher price points (relative to size).

Congrats to anyone who took a leap of faith and pre-ordered this.

It looks really good, Hot Toys execs should be getting worried.

I understand the comparison to JND, but I get the impression that Queen is a much larger and mature producer than JND, which might help to explain why they can do certain things "better" than JND.......of course, that leaves the price question wide open.

A single rooted piece would have been a no brainer, but that wasn't an option.

I agree Inart did an overall better job on the hair than Jnd. With my JND piece specifically though, I can tell you it looks better than the 1/4 and 1/3 QS synthetic hair versions. The 1/4 has way too much hair product in it. I'm scared to try and futz it because I would have to get a lot of water into it.

Don't they also use some sort of wool?

that may be the case, but I'm not really sure what they used. I keep waiting for someone to try and futz through all that hair product without damaging it.
