Theres a recent foto of the 1/3 BC upright pose and JH 1/3 next to it. I personally prefer BC to be taller than JH. Something doesn't feel right seeing those two scale next to next.

It will probably just give P1 an excuse to release another size version of this Chap like they are doing with many other pieces now. I hope they don't, if they do make one in scale with the pred hopefully it is something new.

To it's detriment. It does not display well next to anything thats actually 1/3 (or even close to it), as that image shows. That is the only reason I passed on this (I don't like that the wrinkles were reduced on the torso but not the legs, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me). It's still the best Predator statue ever made imo, but it really should not have been ovescaled. All that did is add to the cost of the statue, the cost of shipping, the base size, the box storage space required and make it display poorly next to 1/3 and 1/2 scale statues.

You're scaling is completely incorrect here as the left side of the picture is further away from the camera. Focal length is not presenting any straight lines.
The good news is, the Alien Warrior debate about whether it really is 1/3 and too small to display with Big Chap can now be put to bed.

Look at your line against the ceiling. This will give you an idea as to how far off of the mark this image is due to several things. Perspective is important.
That said, you are clearly correct about Prime 1's relationship with scale being more of a guide than a rule...

You can't compare the size of these two due to the perspective shift in the photo, but that does not change the fact that the Jungle Hunter does not scale well with the Big Chap.
The Cover Art statue is the most appropriate of the two Predators in terms of scale.
