David, I know it’s difficult to be specific, but do you have a rough idea of when this will be up for pre-order? Do you also know if Sideshow will be carrying exclusives? Apologies if this has been asked before.

In regards to 1:5 scale vs 1:6 scale, Chad and I had a lot of discussions about the pros and cons to both, and we feel TH is mostly known for 1:6 scale, especially with the classic DC lines, so we thought saving 1:5 scale strictly for "Legends" and going back to 1:6 scale for the "Classic" MOTU line was the way to go. It affords us the opportunity to do deluxe pieces like this, that will be expensive regardless, but slightly more affordable than if they were 1:5 scale. While the difference in size between those two scales is marginal with a more standard statue, when it comes to a He-Man on Battle Cat it becomes much more significant. Plus, who doesnt want a He-Man on BC to go with their new Superman!?!

We are doing our best to be sensitive as to not cannibalize sales from the "Legends" line, but as others have said, we think there is a collector base out there that wants a more truly classic take on the MOTU universe. This felt like the best way to open that door, and if it does well, I think most people have guessed who would come next

Price will be what it will be. We do everything in our power to make things as affordable as possible, but end of the day the cost of production has gone up significantly over the last few years, as well as shipping containers, and all that adds up. We still arnt sure on the final price yet, we're in the middle of finishing the prototype, and once the final paint is done, final size is locked in, we can start quoting with our factories and figure out the best place to put this duo.

As a MOTU fan myself, I couldnt be more excited with what we got cooking for 2022. Starting out the year with Mer-Man "Legends" and this He-Man on Battle Cat that will kick start a new "Classic" style line, the other stuff we revealed at Power-Con, and we still got a LOT of other MOTU goodness coming out and planned for the next few years...

It doesnt sound like it, you guys sound like your in it for the long haul, which is nice, but we all know it comes down to money and sales. I hope that SIDESHOW will have access to the Exclusives too, as they just are a bigger company that can get way cheaper shipping. I wish you got the same shipping prices, but you dont, so that is a factor, but I still got the hordak variant as it was only available through Tweeterhead. Keep up the good work and keep those female character's looking sweet and gorgeous like Teela is. Cant wait for the Scorceress!

I also absolutely love the 1/5 Legends line and look forward to see what the more classic inspired 1/6 line has to offer.

I'm also super concerned what the new prices will end up being. $475 was pushing my budget boundaries, but for this line I am willing to indulge at that price. That $575 Hordak variant was shocking and I'm hoping it was just a one off thing. If that (or anything near it) is the new price, I will have to cherry pick through the next few pieces and will probably bow out of the line after a few needed characters. I understand the rough situation of the times and appreciate the delicate decision, so here's hoping that there can be a price that won't hurt anyone's budgets within the production to consumer process.

To help fully support, I'm happy to continue ordering from Tweeterhead directly. But the $25 off 'pay in full discount' along with the flat $25 US shipping are both a huge help and strong purchase direct motivator. I hope these don't end up going away.

BillyCurly - We have the MOTU license through at least the end of 2023, but that's always open to renewal. Chad and I are HUGE fans and plan to renew every time we can so long as the sales justify continuing the line(s).

As a collector myself, I totally get the frustration when a line stops short of your expectations. One guy said he wouldnt buy into this line unless there was a guarantee of at least 20 statues, LOL, you cant commit to that... You plan, you hope for the best, but end of the day it is a business and we gota do what's right for us.

Same for pricing. Hordak Variant was kind of unique in it's short run ES, but it's also very different from the costing 2 years ago to now. Ive said it before, pricing is something we have very little control over.

Great thing is though, again, Chad and I are HUGE fans, so Im making these for me as much anyone else... I wanna see it go deep, so fingers crossed! And we super appreciate the support man!

The recent Mezco Conan statue has shown us quality is possibly an an affordable price point. Please keep this in mind. TH's releases have been trending with noticeable & remarkable increases.

David, first of all let me tell you how much I love that He-Man on Battle Cat. As you might know I am a huge fan of the 1:5 legends line, but I am also very open to a classic, more vintage-like style (I am not getting tired of mentioning a Teela with her classic snake armor ... ). I cannot wait to see the final reveal of He-Man on Battle Cat and learn more about the prize ... and, even more, the measurement. Are you allowed to tell if there is going to be an exclusive version of that piece? Thanks again for all your love for MotU and sharing your visions with us.

He already said they don't have much control over the price, we don't even know the range yet or if it's even approaching $1000. Personally rather than being snarky, I'm really happy to see this kind of transparency from companies and replying to people individually on a forum like this. He certainly doesn't have to... As basically no one else does.

Just saying, maybe wait till we see a price, before complaining about the price?
