I was really hoping this would be my definitive Superman statue in the personal collection but I can't get past that portrait. It is bad, in my opinion. I'll keep on waiting.

Same here. I like the portrait. I’ve been waiting for a Reeves Superman for a long time. One of the few pieces where mixed media works. They’ll never do a fully sculpted one so I’ll take it.

Years ago I probably would have ordered this but I'm now a bigger fan of Henry Cavill as Superman and looking back the movie was a little too corny for my tastes now.

Something about the eyes is really off. I'm looking at the pics on my phone and when I cover the eyes I think he looks just fine.

Love Reeve as Superman but hate fabric on statues.

Any other character would be an easy pass but I need to think about this one.

The 2nd effort (3rd image on the right) looks better in that shot. I still sense there is room for better likeness.
His 'S' quiff could be more central for example. The distance between his eye's and mouth should possibly
be slightly less, as his nose looks longer than it should be. It is pretty decent effort.
