I really need to get that piece already, this thread have given me a strong need to do so sooner rather than later

Nice effort, but the TH still reigns supreme for me. DS at least has an unmasked portrait. P1 needs one.

This is rather unexpected. I am pleasantly surprised. Did Darkside know about it in advance? Are we going to see one from JND or Queen Studios or both anytime soon?
This version of the Catwoman from Prime1 is so pretty and shinny. It's such an eye-candy. As a prototype, it looks fantastic. It has such a well sculpted and beautiful face, but the likeness of Michelle Pfeiffer is debatable. I struggle a bit to see it. It is there from certain angles but overall the true likeness is not quite there IMO. Nonetheless, it is an attractive proposition from P1 if you don't mind dropping a cool $1400 + shipping on a 1:3 scale statue. Fans of P1 and Catwoman 89 probably won't consider any other version but this one. Whether the QC issues will drive some collectors away is yet to be seen.
The one from Darkside is more modest in comparison but still a great looking statue in many ways. I see more of Michelle Pfeiffer behind the mask (especially the eyes) in comparison. The face of the maskless headsculpt looks great too. Overall it has a better likeness IMO. The Catwoman from DS will be mostly a 1:4 scale statue with a price tag of maybe around $600. The maskless headsculp and the three cats might increase the price a bit but it is still more approachable to many of the collectors of the community. It is catering to a completely different crowd.
Both statues look great to me in different ways and they can coexist peacefully and find their respective audience with different budgets, I believe. Good news to collectors.
If likeness is not an issue, Tweeterhead 's Catwoman captures the sex appeal of the character the best. It has a lot to do with the pose of the statue, I suppose. But it is not easy to display compared to a standing statue.

I don't much care about likenesses being perfect, so this looks great on pretty much every level.
Still hesitant about more 1/3, but if this is in stock on Sideshow in 3 years with one of the discount codes...

Both are quite good but rather moot without a matching Keaton Batman...

whoever is able to release a great Keaton first will probably end up with the most orders. Overall, I like the look of the Prime better compared to DS. Of course, waiting for in hand pics may be the smartest thing to do

Oh yeah definitely with a real actress likeness anything could go wrong between solicit and delivery so I'll be waiting to see. And waiting for that Batman.
