As I stated earlier, I would take the Blitz/P1 over this, even if the "collector's premium" put the prices near par. Beyond a stellar portrait, the body attitude simply has more personality and a quirk of life to it.
Plus it's easier to maintain if left open.
I also realize that almost no one here is going to want to pay a premium surcharge for a nicely sculpted cat.
However if someone does go with this, for whatever reason, I think they will find that the main thing that puts this into the "wow, this really looks realistic in person" is going to be the statue as a whole, which translates to the presence, and quality, of the cat, more so than simply the figure & portrait itself.
I also agree that the perfunctory balcony looks odd. It seems to only be there to get the cat off the ground and make it more of another distinct focal point.
