I agree, the two guns look fantastic but I'm less enamoured with hope. Of course, it's great to have display options but I REALLY wanted to like the hope in arms look and I just don't, unfortunately.

I do think overall it's a very nice piece though. The sculpt, pose, details are all fine. But with a great OG and a nice Sideshow variant, it's hard to get on board this one at $1000 USD on the road. That said, pretty sure anyone who ordered this will be very happy with it, just isn't for me.

He looks short because XM likes these "leaning forward" poses a lot. One or two here and there would be fine but this seems to be their go-to pose now.

Which is why I would prefer Baby Hope. Having her on his chest and him being upright would have been great. Then have her be a magnetic removable option.

It's an ok improvement if you dig the XM art direction and didn't get the first one. I'll stick to the sideshow one myself.

The portrait doesn't do much for me, and neither does Hope. Baby Hope and this pose below would have been better.

I could give a darn about Hope so I’d use the alternate arm. It’s great to see Cable in some sort of movement or action instead of just standing and posing. Curious about the other head. No beard portrait?

But like others I have the sideshow exclusive and SS nailed Cable. Plus for the tall characters…Colossus, Apoc, Cable, Hulk, etc…I prefer pieces that show their height compared to others in my collection, as opposed to them being hunched over, striding, etc. But if I didn’t have the PF this would be a great option. Hope would stay in the box.

This looks really nice. I have the first one (naturally they’ll always be compared forever). I got it from a great dude in person for $1000 even. This might come in at $1200 all in. So I’ll have to skip it and be good with just the one Cable. I don’t see a thing wrong with either one. Both are excellent pieces.
