Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Comic-Con 2015 Reel - YouTube
BTS footage now online
The BTS footage was a better choice than a trailer and it had plenty to show fans while reminding them what JJ and team are trying to accomplish in order to stay true to the spirit of the original trilogy. Mark Hamill said it best, "Everything is changed, but nothing is changed".

Thanks for posting the pics and videos guys. The Comic Con Reel and panel video was really great.
I am so pumped for this film. I think it's going to be spectacular and will bring back some of the same feelings I had when I saw A New Hope in the theater for the first time. Abrahms is doing the franchise justice by all accounts and I applaud him for that. It's also great to know that when you watch a trailer from the film, it won't be full of spoilers like so many film trailers are these days. Abrahms is all about secrecy with his films and that's something that I welcome.

Agreed. At first I wasn't going to watch the BTS reel as to avoid spoilers. There's a lot of cool new stuff in the video, but it doesn't spoil any plot.
I can't wait to see Ep7 as the new cast is charming and engaging. Already falling in love with Daisy as she has such a sweet smile.

That was just too amazing. My excitement for this movie is immeasurable.
Completely agree with the decision to showcase the behind the scenes footage instead of a trailer.
