Thor 2 7/10

Second viewing on Blu Ray. I got over the fact that it isn't as good as the first and really enjoyed it this time around. The Dark Elves are awesome.

Batman: Assault on Arkham. 7.5/10

I liked this one far more than Son of Batman. Fair warning though this one is absolutely not for kids. The gruesome violence and sexuality in it far exceeds any other DC film. In fact I will suggest that it was in poor taste for DC to market it as a "Batman" film for that reason, regardless of the fact that it centers around the SUICIDE SQUAD.

Chef: 8/10 - Really enjoyed this. Not laugh out loud funny, but had a big smile on my face the whole time. And a hell of a cast. Lifted straight out of Iron Man. RDJ is brief but great. Like watching Tony Stark on quaaludes

And loved the soundtrack so much I just downloaded it.

I enjoyed it too and would give it the same score.

Sommarnattens leende / Smiles of a Summer Night (1955) - Ingmar Bergman's sexy frolic about the sport of love.

I enjoyed watching this one again. It's a clever romantic comedy. 8/10

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Trick 'r Treat (2007) - 7/10

Pretty good movie. A bunch of stories that interact and overlap one another, kind of like Creepshow. I'm really a fan of the 80's especially when it comes to horror and action films, and this definitely had An oldschool 80's vibe.
Gearing up for the Halloween season, so I'll probably be watching alot of horror films.

12 Years a Slave 8.5/10

A great film with all around great performances. Some parts are quite graphic in nature and are hard to stomach but worth the roller coaster ride. It is based on a biography so the story has that merit to it as well.

I am really tired of Brad Pitt producing movies and casting himself in the part of the "savior". It seems self-indulgent and ruins the narrative somewhat IMO. Him and Tom Cruise both need to come back to earth a bit.

Without producers movies don't get made. He is only in the movie quite briefly and I'd hardly call him a saviour. His appearance in the movie did not diminish the narrative.
