Dumb and Dumber To - 3/10
I really wanted to like this - I wanted it to have a real nostalgic feel. It fell flat with almost every joke save a few. I'm not even sure why they bothered...
Top Five - 9/10
Loved this movie. Chris Rock has finally produced something worth his comedic talent.

Also loved the extras. Doug Liman is a fantastic Director.

I love this movie too - I think the release of Oblivion the year prior also hurt its run - they were both Sci-Fi epics released back to back.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this was. Thought it was going to be stupid but it was warm, touching, and funny.
Even rotten tomatoes gave it 98%

I agree - brought my daughter and her friend. Wasn't expecting much but it really kept my interest.

Planet Terror 6/10
By far the better of the two Grindhouse movies and felt it did better in what it was trying to do as well. Not really my type of movie though

Run All Night - 7/10
I went into this film expecting it to be another rehash of Neeson's Taken films and I was pleasantly surprised. It's quite a bit different then the Taken series. It has a very tight and nuanced narrative with enough back story filled in so I actually cared about what happened to the main characters. There are some great action sequences and dramatic elements. Neeson and Harris are standout performances for me. All in all a good film that I would put at the same level as Taken 1 in terms of quality.

Relatos salvajes / Wild Tales (2014) - Six short stories involving distressed people.
I'm surprised this twisted anthology received an Oscar nomination this year. 8/10

Some long flights lately on my vacation. Watched a good number of films.
Boyhood ~ 1/5
About as dull as it gets. Nodded off twice in it. Not my type of film at all.
Fury ~ 4/5
Edge of tomorrow ~ 4/5
Girl, Interrupted ~ 2/5
The Judge ~ 4/5
