Show me another company producing Marvel-related busts and statues that even comes CLOSE to the consistent quality of Bowen's stuff. It sure as Hell ain't Diamond Select. I can honestly say that I can't see why anyone would spend money on 75% of their products.

Diamond Select does have a number of products that I enjoyed. The silver age X-men look good as a set (minus that crazed-looking Magneto), the paint and sculpt on their Sabretooth is nice, the Emmas and Black Cats are number 1, and the Hulk milestone is just too huge and, as such, worth owning.

Yes, I will admit the Emmas and Black Cat's were really attractive. I still remain steadfast in my hatred for the Silver Age X-Men set. The baggy costumes and amateurishly poor facial sculpts just leave me cold.

Agreed. If more care were given to the sculpts, and with the purple and blue jumpsuits from issue #1, this could have been pretty cool.
