Everyone's advice is spot on. Bring what you can afford to spend as there's no rhyme or reason to pricing. You may find a bunch of pages you like for $100 or less, or you may find everything of interest to be $500 or more.
The only thing I can add is, do NOT spend for the sake of spending. Don't feel that if you go to a show and don't purchase something that you've wasted your time. The only thing worse than not getting something is purchasing something which you later regret having spent your money on. Even if you don't get anything, so long as you talk to dealers and artists, you'll get a better idea of how to deal with them when the time to purchase something comes along.

I like this idea. I'll just end everyone of my statements with "Best, Royd".
It'll totally be convincing.

I know alot of you guys save just for conventions. But Ebay eats away at my money all year long. It never fails right before SDCC there are quite a few things on Ebay I buy. I actually get way more stuff from Ebay that I want then conventions.

Ditto. I try to save up for just conventions, but I can't stay away from eBay, and there's almost always something I want around convention time.

Are there certain artists attending the show that you want art from? Sometimes you can contact them to see what art they are bringing to the show.
Oh and don't forget to negotiate. There is nothing wrong with trying to get something at a lower price.

Thanks for all the good advice guys!
I contacted one of the artists that I really like that will be attending c2e2 but his rep holds all of his art. The other artist I wanted to buy a page from, Amanda Conner, I can't for the life of me find her contact info.
Other artists I've contacted won't be attending the convention but are willing to sell some of their work!
I had another question... what do you guys bring with you to a convention to protect and carry around art in?
