In all fairness, are you late with your commission? It sounds like D believes you promised to have his sculptural portrait finished by a certain date, on several different occassions. He also appears perturbed as to why you haven't let him in on whatever might be the cause of your numerous delays.
You're not the type of artist that ignores e-mails and sends out arbitrary deadlines, are ya Mikester?

No problem here Mike.
If you hit the deadline (ha, ha --dead line) you are safe --the Count is happy.
If you are late he sucks you dry and you live forever and we get priceless sculpts forever.
best wishes -- Renfield

Patience is a virtue, my dear Count (Dare I say a necessity to one undead, such as yourself!). I'd be willing to bet my jugular that your portrait bust will be more than worth the wait!

He can't be. He would be nuts if he were being serious. I think there is a general maxim that requires that we assume people are not insane. So he must be joking.

I would tell D that he is immortal and has eternity or till he gets caught out at sunrise or someone decides to stake him to hold his horses or ya will contact the Vanhelsing group and give them his whereabouts.
