And that, my friend , perfectly demonstrates why so many of us anxiously await the release of the dvd. If you're going to learn how this "magic" is created, you must learn from a master "magician"! That describes this piece perfectly in my opinion - pure "magic"! This piece is just about the most amazing sculpture I've ever seen! Awesome work (magic) Mike!

True enough. It's an amazing sculpt (and finish) as a stand alone piece but it is one of the few 1:1 sculpts that I can think of (by any artist) that lends itself to interaction with a secondary figure. Damn, now that you mention it Vader, I wish I had that kit! Wasn't it a Thomas Kuntz sculpt ( for Janus Company)? Ah well, this is an incredible piece of work just as it is, agreed !

That's right. I think it was Kuntz. You're right about it being alive enough to be interactive. But I like the isolation of Karloff and his apparent contemplative state. It's great as it is. It's more art that just a representation.
