I ordered Gambit because I like the character and the crazy magenta colors. Had no interest in Cyclops. Plus I'll be getting their Rogue.

In my opinion, XM made the better Cyclops and Sideshow made the better Gambit.

For me personally, neither. I like sideshow's Cyclops and Gambit PFs more. That said, I can't stand Jim Lee's Cyclops so I'd honestly pass on both of them even though I think the PF looks better than the XM Cyclops.

I like sideshows gambit too but seeing them side by side I dunno anymore. I don't own sideshows but I have seen it and I feel the XM gambit is so underrated it's criminal.

I've noticed anyone who has it in person loves it but I don't think the pics or videos really do a good job capturing his details, so a lot who "don't like it" have never actually seen it in person. That said I think sideshows is more comic accurate with the base colors and no texturing, so I could never fault anyone for going with that version of this character as the end of the day, it's personal preference. They are both really really good imo.

Cyclops on the other hand is far superior imo but I'm admittedly bias as I really don't care for crying cyke nor that snow base but admittedly never seen it in person so my opinion could change if I ever do.

Thanks for the responses everyone! It's a tough one. The results so far are pretty close. 52% for Cyke and 48% for Gambit.

I agree that the Sideshow Gambit is a bit better, but my issue with that piece is the display area he eats up. He's both really wide and yet deep at the same time, where as XM's fits inside a Detolf. I like the compact aspect. I do love the short haired portrait with the single card hand switch out. But, I also have always loved the B torso for Cyclops as well. It's a really tough choice.

All in all, I like Gambit as a character more than Cyke, but the Cyke statue is killer.

Gambit easily. I just like him as a character more. To me the Gambit statue is far more interesting, too. (Although my character preference could be swaying that perspective.)

Yeah, your pic is making it really hard. They look great together.
