This poll seems alittle biased IMO. It should read best Bowen Statue of the Year. Soulgrace blah.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I had to go with Juggernaut from that list. However, I think that selection should have included some of the DC offerings. The GL Sinestro piece is awesome.

I agree, too!
Bowen statues are great - but this poll looks like they are the only good looking statues for most of the users here...can't really understand why ![Peoples](http://www.statueforum.com/images/smilies/peoples.gif) With these 5 choices I have to vote for Grace - new character and the only female voteable...
but that's just my opinion...
Merry Christmas to all of you!! :tounge:

I agree that it can seem biased, but it's based on the nominations. This forum is a very pro-Bowen discussion group and that is reflected in the vote.
Personally, I think that the GL/Sinestro, Moore Kabuki and the SS Elektra are all great pieces that deserve merit as well.

Hi acrylic paint!
Since I haven't looked into the BD based forum yet, I thank you for information. Bowen is the most popular name in statue business in the U.S., isn't it? It's quite unpopular over here, I think, at least not more popular than Moore or Attakus.
And I agree to the second point I marked in the quote, can't wait to see Kabuki and especially Elektra ('Assassin Resurrected' - like the white dress ![Thumbs2](http://www.statueforum.com/images/smilies/thumbs2.gif) ) standing within my showcase

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

It's a tough call...all those choices are great. I gotta admit though, I received my Platinum Soulfire yesterday and it is a really nice statue. Decisions, decisions.

Unfortunately, statue collecting is very unpopular in Germany
Most popular studios are Attakus and Sideshow from my point of view, escpecially as a result of the success LOTR and Star Wars had in the past few years. But if you want to collect pieces from Bowen/Moore/Hard Hero etc. (characters from the Marvel universe e.g.), you have no other chance to take the look over the ocean and buy in the U.S. It's a pitty, but it seems that my fellow countrymen don't want to spend much money on a hobby like this. What they prefer to collect are model railways or small figures from "KinderĂ¼berraschung" (don't know if you have something similiar in the U.S.) for example...
