Don't know if this would be of any use to anyone but there's a book/cd combo called Virtual Pose 3 by Mario Henri Chakkour which I've found useful. The book has photo's of the 360 degree poses on the cd. You should be able to find it on Amazon. It doesn't give anatomical info but if you can't get to a life drawing class it's not a bad alternative. There's a few in the series but I think this is the most recent.
Here's a weblink to the VP site

Of course, Keith doesn't use these for sculpting...He just likes the pictures!

Well, after seeing your collection of Moore's it's no wonder. Why read when there's just so much fine stuff to look at!

Now, you need to learn the second lesson and be more of "hands on" learner.

Just found a "life" drawing class that also allows "life sculpts" with critiquing. Should be interesting though I am feeling a bit awkward about sculpting nude models.. Not sure I like the idea, but the instructor stated everyone gets that way initally... Hopefully it will help me progress further.

take the chance and do it... allay your tentativeness and harness your chi... I remember drawing from live nudes in college and it was soooo helpful!

Strength Training Anatomy by Frederic Delavier

Best book I have found on muscle and the way they intersect and change with movement.

Another good one is Visualizing Muscles by John Cody

I'd DEFINITELY recommend the Freedom of teach figure as already mentioned. It will be the best investment you make and save you a LOT of time and trouble!

Also a great book is "Sculpting the figure in Clay" by Bruno Lucchesi.
