Personally I've found all their maquettes to be exactly like the promo shots, if not better. As for the quality lacking in their latest offerings, again I have to disagree.
Personally I found your shots Tril of Jack Sparrow (reproduced here a few days ago by Phil) better than that on the CM website. One of the few photographs to "do justice".

MK Ultra also took some really nice shots of Jack. The same is true of his Alien. MK's shots were better I feel than the promo pics.

It's all a question of whose photos you are sing to make your judgement.

Yes, due to the popularity of the character and maquette, there is no doubt it will become a rare item on the secondary market.

I don't think the quality has dropped in the slightest. From a purely technical standpoint I think that CM are achieving more and more with each piece. The next step for some - although I am indifferent, would be acrylic or glass eyes.

I saw a TX shift for £1000 on ebay about three weeks back I think here in the UK. Well it was either £900 or £1000 will have to check my watchlist.

I bought mine for £650. Whilst I would not part with mine, and don't collect CM;s for proft, I would not want to have to pay £1000+ for the T850 in a year or sos time when I could just pick one up for about £650.

This can be said for any piece.
Recently the Sideshow Emperor bust was immediately under scrutiny due to poor photography.
Many unimpressed by the bust (due to the photos) were suggesting cancelling.

Looks as if the forum is up to it's usual tricks.
I'm also receiving data base errors.

Haven't the quality of batches from CM also differed like Aragorn. The earlier ones were not as good as the latter ones?

Having seen the CM Indy in person at SDCC I was really looking forward to adding the piece to the collection but the likeness has not gotten any better, infact I would say its gotten worse.

The Predator will not have that issue IMO. Its just an awesome piece.

I just read my post and it did sound a little too negative.

While some are not perfect, the CMs do look INCREDIBLE when displayed.

I look forward to seeing more collection pics, showing them.
