So, the $230 range has never seemed steep in my eyes given my own personal experience with having items professionally framed. When I frame items myself (no matting..just straight into a frame) the cost is around $50 to $75 (just for the frame alone…thank goodness for the penny sale at Aaron Brothers, ha!), so factor in the $40 to $100 I spend on the artwork, then we get into $120 to almost $200 just for me to frame it myself.
In the end, the professional framing option is there for folks that want it and for those that want to pass we have the unframed version available on it's respective sale day.

Alex, do the prints go up for sale at 9 or 10 AM? The blog says 9, but the email about getting the Wonder Woman print early says 10...

Apologies for that error in that email. All prints launch at 9AM (PT) on Monday.

Yeah I would like to get an answer to that too.
On a side note: I love your avatar Medusoid. What statue is that?

This is interesting. I got an email from SS giving me an opportunity to pre order the WW print (framed only) right now instead of waiting until Monday. Anyone else get the email?
Disappointed it won't let me order the print alone.

It's not a statue, it's just a picture of Spider Gwen I found on Google.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Psssh. You caved buddy... but I did too! Dang SS knows us collectors all too too well.
I love Kris' art style, and his design choices of marrying both a classic and contemporary look for the WW PF. So it was just a matter of choosing between the framed vs the unframed option for me. I like this as a companion piece to the PF.
I'm hoping they do this advanced sale for the Bats and Supes as well.

Nice, another fan of Kris Anka. It seems like we're the minority.

Yeah, I like either a red or gold colour for WW, blue for Superman, and a grey for Batman.
I like this advanced random drop for the prints as well. I'm not sure but it might help curb some of the flippers since usually the more die hard fans will go for the more expensive option. At least that is the impression that I get when browsing Ebay.
