so on yr Sassy, would you paint the DEEPER, darker shades first & then highlight the lighter orange areas, or put on a base coat of orange & darken/brighten where appropriate?

When you work with washes, it's light to dark.
Base colors first, then the wash, then a little dry brushing if you think it needs more high lights.
Getting ready to leave soon going to go see Forbidden Broadway.
