I'm not paying $1100 for a statue of a woman in coveralls, even if it is Sigourney Weaver...

Borrow money from a pessimist, they don't expect it back.

I'm not an Aliens guy, but wasn't she known for wearing panties in some scenes?

Shots from the movie...
Yeah, they need to tweak her likeness.... She should look older and her face a little longer

I have such a difficult time figuring out exactly what it is about the face that's off. The most obvious is the de-aging followed by the roundness of her face/head (I think her hair may be adding to that effect). I think her bottom eyelids are wrong, partly due to their shape (look a tad strained in certain photos) but also because of the thickness of the eyelashes (they should be lighter). The upper lids look okay but are heavily shadowed, and once again have thick eyelashes. Sigourney sometimes looks like she has no lashes, as her upper ones stick outwards as opposed to curling over her lids, and her bottom ones are faint. It makes her eyelids a recognizable feature of hers, especially Ripley who doesn't wear eyeshadow.

You made good points there and I think the face should be a bit longer and her eyebrows not so "predominant". I watched the movie tonight and she looks older than the statue and that should be taken in consideration, although I've read in several places that sometimes they do want to make her younger because that was asked by the actor or the company that hold her license. Either way, her face should be slightly longer... like this little photoshop I did I think that would improve the piece quite a lot

Sounds better than mine to be fair... I only have a bumbling Labrador and a Carpet Python, neither are interested in modelling in my pictures
You know, the more I look at this statue, the more I like it. That video you posted a few pages back really show it off well.
