I would have complained she looked like Angela Basset. Storm doesn’t look like Angela in the comics, why should she on a non-movie statue?

But yes, I too wanted Angela to play Storm back in the day. It was such a semi-troll move for her to be rocking a white head of hair in Black Panther. That’s all I could think about the entire movie when shes giving us those powerful scenes. Ugh. What could have been.

I agree Demona. Every time storm is discussed in movie or statue Bassets name comes up. She would have been a great choice, but I do not need a statue modeled after her

Exactly. Another reason I get sick and tired of people asking for more Jim Lee costumed Storms. There are so many of them out there already and no one ever does it accurately, both in terms of the suit itself, but also the portrait and hair. I'm all for a gorgeous portrait and long, flowy hair, but part of the appeal of Jim Lee's version was how he drew her face and hair. Everyone always wants Rogue and Psylocke to look just like how Lee drew them, but not Storm.

This piece was perfect to make an alt EX head that really resembled his style of Storm especially since this PF has the most comic accurate suit that has been made thus far.

Excuse me? Jim Lee's Storm looks a lot like Angela Bassett...
