Yeah, first company that can give me a classic 1/4 Storm that I like, gets my money. Same deal with a 1/4 classic Cyclops, Martian Manhunter or Perez Deathstroke.

Yup, exactly. I'd add a Byrne 1/4 classic Havok to that list, too.
Always loved the Bowen Havok statue. Need one in 1/4 scale.

Never! Well, maybe not never but I can’t see selling my XM. My only real gripe is the costume color should have been comic accurate but it’s similar to the cartoon which many know. I don’t mind the lined pattern they added even though it wasn’t necessary. Many of the comics statues made in recent times aren’t 100% accurate. Even Sideshow’s isn’t (boot shape, cape isn’t split but some art does show it that way).
XM’s pose is still great, the switch outs can’t be beat, I like the body including the backside, no shame, I love the tornado base despite the seam in the extra piece.
Sideshow definitely learned from XM’s blunder though by using magnets to attach the cape instead of the gaudy chains XM went with. One perk to using fabric but I wish XM thought of something else, like the end of the cape slotting into her wrist bands or something. But I just wrap the chains around so it?s not a huge deal for me.

I never expected for one second the XM suit would have been comic accurate. They came out of the gate adding textures, lines, zippers and details to their statue while keeping comic-style faces. What I don’t like on the XM piece is her grey hair.
While I know so many people want the Byrne suit - totally understand why! - I have no interest in that. Go forward in the designs. Storm has had some great suits in the last 20 years. Hell, even the last 10 have great options.

Yeah it was first mentioned a while ago. There’s a thread for it. Check out the costume choices they optioned. Keeping in mind their license is only for video games there’s some pretty unusual looks they’re deciding from. I don’t remember which game they’re using but I’m hoping something changes.
