New MORTIGHULL (in black/white) vs original...guess the sword position is the main difference?

Looks awesome, but I think I preferred the way he had his sword before. The old pose looks more like a victory pose/something that there would be a statue of.

Does anyone else feel like they put more time and effort into court of the dead then other lines ? Most of these have great detail and paint apps. And so many other lines are hit and miss. If I'm wrong correct me.

I don't know about more effort, but they get creative freedom because it's their thing.

I agree with this. When I saw the first pics, I thought the "outfit" would be painted like bone. They certainly went in a different direction. I like it a lot. The face sculpt is totally personal opinion. When looking at both, the first one looks beautiful, but doesn't really scream queen of the underworld/dead etc. The second one is admittedly less classically "pretty" but I like it better for the character. I do think the second one could have benefited from a tad longer face, she seems a bit squat compared to the first.

A Newman portrait is a Newman portrait. They look nearly identical to me. A different paint job could easily make the same headsculpt look as different as these two look.
Still blows my mind that sideshow is going so hard on this line. Not having to pay for a license must make it worth it.

I'm confused, you think these two look different? And because of paint?
