Finally, for some of our Globally licensed products that are available now, they won?t be ready for at least one more year. With our batch system, we could delay and economy shipping into early 2023 for customers who can wait a little longer for things to even out. By that time, we should be looking at lower prices and a return to some sort of normality
?

The Alita bust is a global license AFAIK.
Does this mean that the bust I already fully paid for isn't showing up till 2023 now?

I don't want to get into a political argument... but these shipping delays aren't ending any time soon with this administration and
CA politics.

Florida has offered its ports with incentives to try to alleviate some of the problem, but IMHO, we're going to have get used to lengthy delays.

from 12/9
For all the talk about how screwed up our West Coast ports are, port of Long Beach said today it will process more than 9 million TEUs by the end of the year. Previous record was 8.1 million in 2020. They're now at 8.6 million.

from 12/7
South Carolina Ports set all-time monthly record for containers moved in November

12/23
The Transportation Department today will announce another $230M in port infrastructure development grants, part of the Port Action Plan announced in November, to ease congestion where goods and shipping containers got stuck during the global supply-chain logjam.
Number of shipping containers stranded at the Los Angeles and Long Beach ports has been halved since they moved to 24/7 operations. Railroads and terminals are offering incentives to move goods on nights and weekends, and pop-up container yards are easing congestion.

but none of that matters because we've become a nation of Veruca Salts

You say they delays won't end, yet they have already drastically improved over this year. I had two statues ship direct from Prime 1 this year. Both shipments were two boxes each and both came through the port of LA.

The first statue shipped in May and did not arrive to Colorado until 6 months later in October. The second statue just shipped in November and is already set to arrive tomorrow, only 1 month and 10 days since it left P1. Things definitely are not anywhere near as bad as they were earlier this year.

I guess time will tell.

I was told another 3 months delivery for something paid in full a month ago.

People are still waiting for their Golden Armor statues they paid in full months ago.

As for the veruca salts comment above We, we PO a year in advance, then throw another 3 or 4 months delay on top of that... I'd hardly call that instant gratification.

Anyways, I do hope the port and supply issues resolve soon, and not just for my statues.
