Z, I picked up mine from the lcs last week and I think this piece mostly suffers from the pose of the drawing you were emulating. I wish Jim Lee had given you something more iconic to work with. The neck is an issue, as you mentioned, but your sculpt is a really good 3D rendering of the original art which, unfortunately, I think hampered and handicapped you.

I went ahead and picked this one up too. I was a little iffy on the cape at first too, but it's really grown on me over time.

And personally I think the pose is great. It may not be a "quintessential Jim Lee" pose, but it's still pretty cool.
