Yes. They are blaming it on the "poor photography" of the collectors' in-hand photos. It's quite sickening that they've taken our money, then refused to admit the awful quality of these busts, and then they insult our intelligence by blaming the poor detail of the bust on collectors' photography skills.

I see those who would usually defend HCG very quiet on this thread. I think it will be an uphill climb to gain confidence from customers.

Ok, so lets all forget the photo's are fork out $700 dollars each and judge for ourselves, for which we'd return and they make a little bit of money on each return through not returning postage costs.

I cancelled the alien bust pretty quick when I saw the in-hand pics, their paint app needs to be done better for sure.

I strongly suggest that NOBODY buy from HCG. Their paint apps, and customer service (although they think is helpful) is terrible. I am out of pocket £80, because they think my return is due to my 'personal preferences' .
Simply NO !!! My return is due to their terrible QC, that dozens of people, have noted on this piece. I understand that in this hobby, production pieces may differ slightly from their prototypes, but this is on the highest scale of difference, with the whole piece being a completely different product in color, shading, detail and texture. Not to mention that they have in no way stated on their website that production pieces may differ from the advertised product. They are effectivly in breach of contract, and could easily be sued. I would take that route, but my only problem is I would have to travel to a claims court in Florida, which I would have pay for. Unless I added that to my expenses in the claim, but that would mean an even bigger gamble.
Please vote with your wallet people. I am going to do everything in my power to prevent this company from making any money off the working man. Until I see every penny of this bruce lee atrocity refunded to me, I will boycott them with all my heart.
