Indiana Jones and The Dail of Destiny 8/10
Good Film. I really enjoyed the young Indiana Jones part at the begining. It was like 20 minutes long or something. I hope this film makes such a good box office that Disney begs Harrison Ford to come back for one more time and we have a Hexing.

Asteroid City 7/10
Every time I watch a Wes Anderson movie I think the same thing…”I’m too dumb to understand Wes Anderson movies.” Like what am I missing? There has to be something I’m missing. Or maybe there isn’t and the joke is on me.
Either way, the movie has a nice cast. Per usual the cinematography is stellar.

Yeah, that was great, really makes me want to see more of his adventures in the 1940s...so much potential. But this was a fun film with one of my all-time favorite characters, and a solid swan song for Harrison in the role.

The Flash 7.5/10. I dragged my wife and daughter to it, and it was the first time they were in a theater since 2019. It deserved to do better at the box office. We are going to go see Indy next week.
Last night I watched a movie that I forgot even existed, and had pretty much ignored, Huntsman: Winters War 8/10. Highly enjoyable

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. 7/10. Solid film. Loved the several callbacks to Raiders. Younger Indy was well done visually, but Ford’s current voice tenor being used was a little disconcerting. Happy to say my 16 year old son not only wanted to see the film, but thoroughly enjoyed it. So, we’ve had Harrison Ford “swan songs” for Solo, Indy and Deckard. Can we get one for Jack Ryan?
