I think before Ben realizes Shaw's power he would have already pummeled Shaw to the point where he would be near invincible. Let's not forget, it's clobberin' time! Ben usually clobbers first asks questions later, but in the case of Shaw later is too late.

Sebastian Shaw. He's a character that hasn't seen much useage outside of the X-MEN & actually took them down with his Hellfire Club. He is a master strategist & absorbs energy. I know Benjy's got a heart of gold but he's basically a brawler when it comes down to it. Shaw should win.

Grimm wouldn't strike Shaw initially, as Shaw appears to be nothing more than a mere mortal. The Thing takes this one via sitting on Shaw until the authorities arrive.
