Also we only say a small area of the Alien at a time. We never saw a full figure other than photographs in the number of publications printed since the original movie.-
With regards to the pose I see this as the scene where Ripley is looking for the Cat and the Alien came around the corner of the bulk head.-
It will pose very well with the Aliens Warrior as can be seen with the comparison shot.-

I get why Sideshow made the fingers the way they are. Actually, I think most people who complained about them, get it. I just think most people would rather have something closer to what was seen on screen, than Sideshow's interpretation.
No matter what, I'm still going to get one.
It's too cool to pass up.
btw..I love the texturing!! I think Giger would be proud of this piece.
