They should go all out! I'm all down for it. All those big Marvel heroes don't deserve only 15 minutes each.

Make it a trilogy goddammit!

At the moment I believe other main characters will be The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow, and Nick Fury

I doubt they will include others

Hulk has been confirmed. Not sure if Norton is reprising the role of Banner yet though.

I would say its shaping up to be an "Ultimate" version. Maybe following the first animated film.

The main reason why most films are traditionally capped at around two and a half hours, or two and three quarters on the outside, is because any longer than that and theatre owners aren't able to have as many screenings per day as they need/want in order to maximise profit for 'blockbuster' movie releases. Occasionally an 'event' film will be granted a longer running time theatrically, but it's the exception rather than the rule, and that's why you see so many 'big' movies coming in, running time wise, somewhere between 140 and 160 minutes.

That is why as individual films IM, Cap etc are fine at that time lenght. But Avengers is Epic.

I'm for 2.5 hours tops. Even during the best of movies, I start to get fidgity after that point. Plus the point being made that the characters have already been established from the previous movies is right. Minizing the character intros should leave room for ALOT of story.

2.5 hrs is perfect for a real movie with a story.
