That's still just foot shooting. I buy the issues with the lowest shipping fees. If the fees are too high then they won't be bought. Who is going to buy a 99 cent comic an pay $10 for shipping. You make it sound like there are simple answers to this. There is no simple answer. It is a neggative for all parties involved (except ebay). Ebays profit soared for the last 2 years, even through the recession. This is just greed.

I noticed more sellers are using a different Pay service than Paypal lateley. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Wonderful - even less incentive for sellers to ship internationally.

If you sell over $20,000 and/or have over 200 transactions you'll receive a 1099.
OIC, I don't think I have had 200 transactions in the 12 years I have been on eBay.

I get a kick out of them telling us to lower our shipping fees to lower our ebay fees. So if we lower our shipping fees by $4.00 it will save in ebay fees by .25. They are nuts with this announcement. If they want to go after the fees on shipping they need to set a realistic limit on shipping. The idiot that list and ipad for $10 BIN but put $490 shipping are the people they need to go after. Not us who cover our fees (ebay and Paypal) with a couple extra dollars in shipping.
I just returned to selling 2 months ago after a 8 year absence and it is a whole lot easier now and I don't mind the fees. But don't try to tell me what to charge in shipping when people will pay a little more to get their stuff quicker, Iv'e only had one person in 75 transaction give me gruff about shipping and they were a pain in the butt anyway.
If ebay thinks this is going to lower what people charge for shipping they are NUTS. It's only going to raise shipping charges.

Another moronic move by these geniuses. The sellers that stick around will raise their shipping rates and less people will buy. They are driving both sides away from their service. I hope I get to see the day when they fold altogether, but I won't hold my breath.

I'm glad I pretty much sold everything I need to sell over the last couple months. Now I won't have to feed the ebay pockets much anymore.
