I think my first con sketch was Longshot by Rick Stasi and if memory serves me correctly, it is at my brother's house. The first published page I bought was either a Ron Lim Spiderman Unlimited page or a Paul Grist Jack Staff cover. Can not remember. I still own the Jack Staff cover, but not the Lim Spiderman page.

My very first original art purchase was a Colossus commission by our own Chris Stevens, and yes I definitely still have it.

My first commission was back in at Mid-Ohio in 1998 by Martin Egeland of Aquaman fame. still one of my most favorite con conventions. Wish he as still around doing comic, I would love to get him do some more pieces.

First piece of OA was this Deodato WW DPS I got on ebay about five years ago. I chanced upon it, I didn't even realise ebay was selling this stuff. Bidding finished around 02:00 my time and I woke next day having won it. I have had some offers on it but I still have it and don't intend to sell.

my first purchase of art was in the late seventies. i bought a few pages from joe sinnott. there was an ff page, teamup page and even a capt america cover.
the first commission i got was also in the 70's. george perez was doing a show at my local mall. i got some head sketchs as well as full body ones. they were of han solo, logon of logan run, the thing.
all were sold in the late 90's when i was developing my theme of spiderman fighting a villain.
now my oldest is from paul ryan of spiderman fighting the blackcat that i got at comicfest in philly in 94.

I forgot the artist but it was at one of the big crapple cons... He drew me a Ramos styled Spidey for $25 and yes I still have it.

i [I]think[I] my first page was this Howard Porter JLA page, but i can't remember for sure. yes, i still have it. I have no idea what my first commission was. My first piece of 'art' though was a really bad Witchblade painting i got on Ebay and after i started really collecting, i think i threw it away because it was so bad. LOL
